Current Progress and Future Goals
We’ve successfully onboarded communities in Pwllheli, Rhyl, and Prestatyn, but our mission extends further. Seeking partnerships in Mold and Rhyl, we aim to deepen support for local businesses. Integrating TrackBoxx for analytics enhances decision-making. Our event platform promotes local gatherings, while QRBoxx drives foot traffic with targeted promotions. Exploring a local currency in Rhyl stimulates economic activity. Crucially, we prioritise accessibility, ensuring our platform is user-friendly for all. Our progress forms the basis for future expansion as we strive to empower local economies and foster stronger communities throughout the region.
The Road Ahead: A 12-Month Outlook
Here’s a glimpse into what the next 12 months hold for QrBoxx:
1. Free Trial Period for Towns in Wales:
In partnership with Smart Towns Mentor Môn, we’re excited to enable towns across Wales for a free trial period. This initiative will allow us to further refine our platform and tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each community.
2. Enhanced Website Release:
Once we’ve onboarded 5 towns, we’re planning to release an updated version of our website. This update will improve performance and add new capabilities to better serve our users.
3. Property Functionality Expansion:
We’ll be rolling out the property function on all sites, allowing users to buy and sell accommodation directly through the QrBoxx platform.
4. Online Marketplace Launch:
Every town onboarded will gain access to our online marketplace, providing a centralised hub for local businesses to showcase their products and services.
5. Free Promotional Tools for Businesses:
To address the specific needs of local businesses, we’re developing free promotional tools that will help them reach their target audience and drive growth.
